EE046 condensation monitor is used for detecting the danger of condensation on pipes, ducts and other surfaces before condensation actually occurs. 

The device measures the relative humidity at the surface to be monitored and provides an early warning signal (relay) when the humidity reaches 90% RH. 

The signal can be used for initiating control steps such as increasing the water temperature in a chilled ceiling, reducing the cooling capacity or switching on the heating.A special coating protects electronics and sensor against contamination.
